Now, i have studying routing and network security lecture on this semester. In this lecture, i learn how to manage virtual computer networking in VMWare. We can make many virtual computer if you have enough memory, hard disk, and other hardware components.
Today, i was learn routing practice. In this lesson, i learn how to remote linux computer. Our lecturer introduce a program which can remote other linux computer. To remote other computer, we must know the host IP address, account username and account password. Advantage from this program is we can control our computer wherever we are as long we can connect to our computer address.
If we have 3 computer, and 1 computer have a function to becomes a router and the other computer as a host. This are step by step to make the network :
If we have 7 computer and 2 hub/switch, and we want make 2 different network which can access internet, we need 1 computer with 3 network card. One of network card connect to cable or DSL modem which connect to internet. Then connect other network card to switch/hub, so this computer can becomes a router.
1. Turn off the computer
2. Install the LAN Card to motherboard, if the motherboard doesn't have an LAN chipset onboard
3. Turn on the computer
4. Type "mc"( without quotes )
Many people assume that learning computer networking is so difficult, but to learn computer networking actually not so diffilcult. We can start to learn computer networking from simple thing first.
